This is an annual one-day sailing event between Nottingham SC, Attenborough SC and Trent Valley SC; and is taking place at Attenborough SC this year.
For the newer sailors, you may just want to have a sail round somewhere different for the day. For those who race regularly, I’m expecting your support in holding onto the Club trophy which we won at Nottingham SC last year! There are two trophies to sail for. The main trophy is the team event, for which you will be sailing for Nottingham SC. There is also an individual trophy.
We would like as many boats as possible from Nottingham SC to take part – whether you are beginners or serious racers.
For those who would like to go but cannot get their boat to Attenborough, or would like to crew for someone, let me know and we’ll see what we can arrange.
For those who want to come and support, there is the Attenborough SC area to cheer from – or access to most sides of the lake, (including the Nature Reserve café). Plus, there are many miles of walks around the large Nature Reserve which stretches along the River Trent from Beeston to Long Eaton, if you need a break from cheering from the side lines.
